This Week...

This week we ended up meeting on Monday night at my house. Very little knitting was done but we still had a lot of fun. There was food and Hair dye and chatting and petting yarn. then we watched a little knitty gritty and drooled over the ladies who could knit continental. You should see em. It's so unfair. We also watched an episode on double knitting. Looks terribly confusing! Don't think I'll be trying it anytime soon. Then again you never know. Both Lesley and I got in fun packages from KnitPicks this week. Wanna know what we got??? Come to the next meeting. We decided to meet up Christmas Eve about noon. There will be more cooking and knitting and tons of fun. Let us Know if you would like to join us. The more the merrier!!! We love new people.

The meeting...

We met up yesterday. Had a great time. We got together at my house and sat around and chatted and raided my stash and knitted and miss symie played the playstation. I think she was fairly amused. We had a pretty good time if I do say so myself. Lesley brought over her new Vogue Knit1 Mag she got and her new sock yarn from her PRGE pal. Very pretty stuff. I want a PRGE pal now. She even got Knitting Rules by the all powerful Stephanie Pearl- McPhee. (For the new knitters out there.... She is THE Knitting Guru) I showed off my little collection of Rebecca Magazines, and the couple of knitting books I had. All in all it was a great time and you all Missed it. Don't you wish you were there now??? I bet you do! Guess you'll just have to show up next time, huh?!? Thought so!! Other than that... I did fininsh the back panel of my Ribby Cardi and started the left front panel. I may just get to wear this bad boy before it becomes 90 degrees again! I know shocker!!! Sunday..

Ok the meetup is on for sunday. Only change... We're meeting at my house. I dvr'd the Knitty Gritty show and they happened to be talking about spinning. I've always wanted to try it and so has Lesley. So on Sunday we're gonna try to make some Charkha boxes out of cigar boxes and try spinning up some fibers. Come and join us!!! Email me and I'll give you the specifics. Make sure you bring a cigar box!! I'm so excited I can hardly wait. I'm trying to finish up some little projects to make room for my new addiction! :) See you soon.

Meet Up Cancelled today

I hate to have stood up anyone that may have come out. Brook and I could not make it today. I hope we didn't stand anyone up. We are just so used to it being just us. Anyways Happy Sunday to All! I am starting to read my new book that my PRGE pal sent me! She rocks! Brook Rocks! We all Rock!!!
